Audience: Banking managers and people leaders (branch, operations, risk/compliance, lending, call center, corporate)

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course learners will be able to:

  • Demonstrate communication techniques that encourage open dialogue during 1:1s, meetings, and informal team interactions.
  • Analyze common communication breakdowns and select manager responses that increase clarity, voice, and psychological safety.
  • Evaluate leadership behaviors that impact trust—positively or negatively—based on principles of consistency, transparency, and follow‑through
  • Identify behaviors, actions, and outcomes that represent meaningful employee contributions within banking workflows.
  • Apply a structured approach to recognizing contributions using specific, timely, and fair practices.
  • Implement predictable routines and team practices that strengthen connection across roles, schedules, and locations.
  • Create a short‑term action plan (1–2 weeks) incorporating at least two connection‑building behaviors introduced in the course.
