This course equips managers and leaders with strategies to develop all employees through mentorship, sponsorship, coaching, and structured development programs. Participants will explore the key elements of successful employee development in banking, including upskilling, reskilling, and fostering career growth across employee groups. The course emphasizes building clear, skills‑based pathways for advancement and practical ways to support professional growth for all.

Audience: Managers, people leaders, HR/L&D partners in banking (branch, ops, risk/compliance, lending, contact center, corporate).

Objectives:
By the end of the course learners will be able to:

• Differentiate mentorship, sponsorship, and coaching and select the right approach for specific employee needs.
• Assess team and role requirements to identify skills gaps and map them to upskilling or reskilling pathways.
• Design a role‑appropriate development plan using stretch work, formal learning, and feedback loops.
• Evaluate development opportunities and program access for fairness, transparency, and business alignment.
• Implement a lightweight development program (pilot) with clear goals, measures, and check‑ins.
• Plan near‑term workforce readiness for AI‑enabled tools and processes by defining priority skills and enablement steps.
